In case you missed last month, on the first Thursday of every month this year, I’m sharing a tarot card with a message regarding how it can be viewed through a storyteller’s lens. With each card, you can expect:
Its astrological correspondence.
A relatable keyword to inspire you.
An affirmation to guide you.
Considerations for writers, including questions you can use as journaling prompts.
If you missed January, you can read it here.
The Card of the Month for February is The Star.

Astrological Correspondence:
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18
Keyword: Restore
Affirmation:
When my heart, body, mind, and spirit need rest, I prioritize self-care.
Considerations for Writers:
The Star follows directly behind The Tower card in the tarot. After experiencing a swift, profound change, in what ways are you different? What does self-care look like for you and how were you able to recover, rejuvenate, and/or restore joy following the fallout? Write a story about your experience.
This card and messaging are from Mystic Storyteller Tarot and Mystic Storyteller: A Writer’s Guide to Using the Tarot for Creative Inspiration, by Amanda Hughes, illustrated by Roz Kazaz, published by La Panthère.
